The Broken Rose
The first feature film to ever be shot using Richard Gale Optiks' TRUMP lens series, it allowed us to get a unique take on the Oakland setting of the film. It follows a young woman named Rose as she is pulled into the world of sex trafficking and tries to get out alive. It is currently on the festival circuit having played to sold out audiences and won multiple awards including best picture.
Rose is a young girl who has grown up in foster care. Desperate to escape an abusive situation, she is saved by an older man named Shaka , but at what price?
